I would defiantly run the boxxer if i were you!
At 5 11 and a medium the bike feels pretty perfect to be honest. not large or cramped.
How tall are you?
If you have a deal on the 09 small size, remember you can always throw a stem on thats a little longer (or run something like the raceface atlas direct mount stem which is adjustable from 30 to 50mm reach to find whats right for you)

Hope this helps

Hey man,
I saw that you are asking about the session in the Session or Demo thread.
I ride an M and am 5ft 11 or so. The session is a really great bike, and if you like your bikes to be flickable, the session will do that very well. The thing is, you said that you were looking at the FR version, would that be with a Totem?
I ride the DH version with a custom build and am running boxxers up front. While i was in whistler, i rode a FR version for a few days with a Totem and honestly didnt like the bike compared to mine. The fork cant match the performance of the frame!
Send me a message if you have any more questions
